When I was a kid here in the 60s and 70s it was a dump. But it really is a thriving and beautiful city. The return of the Trams, better city centre planning and new 21c buildings, all return it to its 19c heyday.

This guide misses Manchester’s most important cultural Asset…..the Hallé Orchestra established by The German musician Karl Halle in 1858.
One of the oldest and best UK orchestras in the World ! They play at Manchester’s fantastic Bridgewater Hall.

I've lived here all my adult life,it really is grey and depressing, though in the summer months it comes alive. If you plan to visit Manchester, don't come in the winter,it's freezing cold and constantly raining.
